Twenty students constructed the 24th home under the guidance of a new instructor, David Schmoekel and Assistant Robert Mullins.  Robert Chizek became the new Builder of Record and President of the Board.

The home features a contemporary style with a brick and wood exterior and large energy efficient windows.  There are four bedrooms with ample closets, including a master bedroom with a large walk-in closet a whirlpool bath and lots of natural light.  The first floor den and the great room share a fireplace.  The large kitchen features appliances and a dining area, and opens to a large wood deck.  There are two full baths, one half bath and a first floor laundry room with storage.  This year’s home was designed by several Huron students working with instructor, Ray Zawacki and local architect, David Peters.  The house sold for $ 245,000.
