Twenty students constructed the 24th home under
the guidance of a new instructor, David Schmoekel and Assistant
Robert Mullins. Robert Chizek became the new Builder of
Record and President of the Board.
The home features a contemporary style with a
brick and wood exterior and large energy efficient windows.
There are four bedrooms with ample closets, including a master
bedroom with a large walk-in closet a whirlpool bath and lots
of natural light. The first floor den and the great room
share a fireplace. The large kitchen features appliances
and a dining area, and opens to a large wood deck. There
are two full baths, one half bath and a first floor laundry room
with storage. This year’s home was designed by several Huron
students working with instructor, Ray Zawacki and local architect,
David Peters. The house sold for $ 245,000.
