The 22nd quality home built under the program had 20 high school students working on the home.  The colonial  style home is  located on a large landscaped lot, featuring a wood exterior, large energy efficient double-hung windows, and interior oak stairs and railings.  There are three bedrooms, with heated walk-in closets, including a master bedroom with a whirlpool bath and lots of natural light; a first floor den-guest room; a great room with fireplace; a large kitchen featuring appliances and a breakfast area. The great room opens onto a large wood deck.  There are three full baths, one half bath and a first floor laundry room with lots of storage.  Other features include an energy efficient furnace/air conditioning system, cable T.V. and phone outlets in all rooms, and super insulation and special storage areas.

The design of this year’s home was chosen from several which were drawn in the Huron and Pioneer Architectural drafting classes.  The student designer was Jim Wise.  Former assistant Lloyd Cochran became the Instructor with Assistance from Robert Mullins.  Dick Russell was Builder of Record and President of the Board.  The home sold for $ 262,000.
