The seventeenth home was designed as a contemporary
style house and featured a brick and aluminum siding exterior,
an open plan with several skylights and oak stair railings.
It has three bedrooms-one a master bedroom with two large walk-in
closets, a whirlpool bath and separate walk-in shower - a den-guest
room, a great room with energy efficient fireplace and two story
cathedral ceiling, a large kitchen with appliances and breakfast
room which open to a large dining room, three full baths, one
half bath and a two-car garage with operators. The house
is very energy efficient and has a free-flowing outside deck overlooking
a golf course.
Twenty six students were involved in the building
of the house and Tom Lancaster and his assistant Kit Johnson were
the instructors. The Builder of Record and President of
the Home Building Program was Robert Guenther, Guenther Building,
Inc..The house sold for $ 181,050.
