Suzanne Dunn of Huron High School
designed the 13th house of the Student Home Building Program.
Suzanne’s design provided the 25 high school students in the program
with many opportunities for their quality built home. The
home featured three bedrooms, a den, a great room, a formal dining
room, a dinette, two full baths, two half baths, a large kitchen
with appliances and a two car garage. The windows, exterior
doors, ceilings and walls were built with high energy efficient
products.
The design of this year’s home was chosen from several which were
drawn in the Huron and Pioneer High drafting classes and the interior
decoration was designed by students in the Huron home decoration
class, Instructor Joyce Prochnow. The instructor, Thomas
Lancaster was assisted by Gary Neff. Dave Peters of David
O. Peters Associates, Architects and Planners was the Builder of
Record as well as President of the Board of Directors. The
house was sold for $123,500. |
