John Wacker, President / Builder of Record
Wacker & Tuthill Company

Tom Lancaster, Instructor
Les Pierce, Assistant

The 11th house was, again, under the direction of Board President and Builder of Record John Wacker with Instructor Tom Lancaster and Assistant Les Pierce and thirty students.  Larry Frank of Pioneer High School designed the home.  His winning design was chosen from the Pioneer High Drafting Class of Instructor, Joe Dell-Anno.

The home featured four bedrooms, a sunken family room with stone fireplace, two full baths, two half baths (one in the basement), a full basement, a large kitchen with a convection range, and a two-car garage.  The fireplace has an outside combustion air supply and the house has an energy-saving auto vent damper on the furnace and hot water heater along with numerous enegy saving devices. The Interior decoration was assisted by students from the classes of Marjorie Johnson and Joyce Prochnow.  The home sold for $ 100,000.
