The doors to the future were opened wide for
26 high school students from Pioneer and Huron High Schools who
were building the 3rd Student Home Building project. The
1972-73 school year brought a change of instructors as Richard
Russell began his tenure of instructing the students. Henry
Landau continued as Board President & Builder of Record.
The program now had a total of six labor unions
to supply the project with experienced workers to advise and guide
the students through the different steps of construction.
This home featured four bedrooms, a family room with a fireplace,
two full baths, two half baths (one in the basement), a full basement,
and a large two-car garage. The home sold for $ 49,000.
